- **Event Description**: Join Nebraska Game and Parks outdoor educators and partners for a night of kayaking and cleaning up your local aquatic habitat at Carter Lake in Omaha on Thursday, Sept. 10. Because what’s good for wildlife is good for people too!

We will meet at the boat ramp on the Northeast side of the lake, just off of Abbott Drive and E Carter Blvd. If you take directions to the airport from the south, and turn left on to E Carter Blvd, the boat ramp will be on your left. The general Carter Lake Address is 4405 Carter Lake Shore Dr W, Omaha, NE 68110. 

Basic instruction will be given at the beginning of the event, and all materials provided to those who register a kayak. You will be emailed prior to the event to confirm your registration and any needed details.

This event is free and we welcome you to either borrow a kayak or bring your own! Due to limited kayak supply, we do require registration.
