- **Event Description**: Hey singer songwriters!  The Cowtown Pickers and The Eagle's Nest will be hosting a singer/songwriter contest every Tuesday in March!  
Each week singer/songwriters from the area will compete for a chance to make the finals.  Each contestant will get a free drink for performing on stage.  
The top 2 contestants each week will compete in the final round March 31st!  Each person will perform 3 original songs in front of 3 judges and the crowd.  
Winners will be decided based on... 
1. performance
2. lyrics  
3. crowd response  
The final round each contestant will perform their best 3 songs against the top two performers from the prior 4 weeks.  Winner will take home $100 cash prize and will get a gig at the Eagle's Nest! 2nd place winner will also get a gig at the Nest.  The Nest has an amazing sound system for you to use, with their own in-house sound guy and they have an amazing crowd!  Top 2 performers only perform one time, anyone not in the top 2 are encouraged to come back and try again any of the other Tuesdays if you like to give it another shot!
