- **Event Description**: Would you like to enjoy baked goodies and support a great cause? Join us next week for our in-person bakesale fundraiser! Two days: Wednesday Nov. 26 from 3:30pm to 7pm and Thursday, Nov. 27 from 3:30pm to 7pm at Hugh Sutherland School, in the hallway near the library. 

Please bring cash, or we can accept e-transfer, or credit card through online fundraising link (details below).

100% of donations go towards the new playground at Hugh Sutherland School. The old playground will be decommissioned in 2026. Our new playground will not only serve grade 5-12, but will help serve the entire community of Carstairs - of all ages and abilities. 

This fundraiser is brought to you by the Hugh Sutherland School Enhancement Foundation, “Established in 2001, the Hugh Sutherland School Enhancement Foundation is dedicated to enriching the educational experience of every student at Hugh Sutherland School (HSS).”

Thank you to our incredible team of volunteer bakers for donating their time and baked goodies, to Hugh Sutherland School for providing space for this bakesale, and to Paul at Paul’s Independent Grocer for supporting ingredients for this community initiative.
