This free programme gives you the chance to try 2 of the duathlon disciplines (bike and run) in a safe and social environment.Where:The group will meet at Lough Moss Leisure Centre (Carryduff) on Tuesday mornings from 9:30am to 11:30am for 8 weeks beginning Tuesday 5th May. You will finish each session with some tea, coffee and biscuits but there is no expectation to stay for this part if you can't. The programme will finish with a mini- duathlon during your final session on Tuesday 23rd June. There is no expectation for you to complete a specific distance or time for this event and it is just a chance to give a duathlon a go.What to expect:These sessions are coached by Triathlon Ireland coaches who will meet you on arrival and will be happy to answer any questions.Sessions include cycling on the spin bike and running on the pitch. The sessions will be tailored for the group and you don't have to take part in all sessions, just see how you feel!If you have any questions at all in advance please contact amina@triathlonireland.com who will be happy to help.Who are these sessions for:These sessions are open to men of all ability levels who are 50 years of age and older- please come along and try as much as you can -there is no expectation that you complete any specific times or distances, just come and try.What do you need:Bike (indoors)- gym gearRun (outside)- gym gear but bring weather appropriate outer layersRegistration:This 8 week programme is free to take part but you will require a Triathlon Ireland Community Membership (€12) to take part.
