We’ll also be hosting a raffle with all proceeds benefiting the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, and a portion of all ticket, food, and beverage sales will be donated as well. Additional donation options will also be available during ticket purchase.

American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) is a voluntary non profit health organization that gives those affected by suicide a nationwide community empowered by research, education and advocacy to take action against this leading cause of death. 

AFSP is dedicated to saving lives and bringing hope to those affected by suicide, including those who have experienced a loss. AFSP engages in the following core strategies of research, education, advocacy and support of survivors of suicide loss and those affected by suicide. 

We will be participating in the Suffolk VA Out of the Darkness Walk, like many others that take place in cities nationwide. During this wall, those affected by suicide – and those who support them – raise awareness and much-needed funds, strongly sending the message that suicide can be prevented, and that no one is alone.

Kristin is a part of Team Weisz GUYS and personally supports this cause as she walks every year in the Out of the Darkness walk in honor of both of her parents whom she lost to suicide. She strives to help us all grieve and heal, remember those we have lost, and to help others know there is help and support and that we are not alone.
