FAQs

What is it?

EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) 

is a gentle and uplifting energetic healing practice used to release:

-stress

-anxiety

-limiting stories

so we can reconnect to our value and lovability, allowing us to regain confidence, resilience, and peace.

 

How does it work?

To do EFT, we tap on a series of acupressure points on the body, while naming the issue we’re working on, as well as affirming our own lovability and value. 

 

In a session…

A session needs one volunteer to sit in the “Love Seat.” Together, we'll identify an issue they're dealing with that we can work on, and create a statement in the format mentioned above. The volunteer will repeat what I say, while every member of the group taps along.

Each statement will have its own round of tapping, and we'll do a number of rounds until we come to a place of closure for that issue.

Saying yes to being in the Love Seat can feel vulnerable, so my intention and work is to create an environment in which the volunteer (and everyone) can feel safe and supported as I guide us through our time together. 

 

Why a group?

Doing EFT in a group is a beautiful experience in which all the benefits of tapping are amplified as we work together. Collectively we will release old stuff that doesn't serve us anymore — even if the topic doesn’t perfectly relate to everyone present — and call in a greater truth upon which we can build a better future than was previously possible. Collectively we’ll experience the benefits: no one is left out.
