- **Event Description**: We’re so looking forward to this - Kerry and Fraser Buchanan have had a grand adventure taking their boat from Donaghadee to France, and then through France. 

We’ve been following that journey and are delighted to launch this lovely book! 


KERRY BUCHANAN writes freelance for publications including 
Practical Boat Owner magazine, and her Northern Irish crime series is 
published by Joffe Books. She says that despite the bloodthirsty nature of 
her novels, she’s really a very nice person, honestly. 

She also wouldn’t have 
been able to produce so many novels, stories and articles if it wasn’t for the 
support of her husband, Fraser.

FRASER BUCHANAN is a retired professor of biomaterials engineering from Queens University, Belfast, who has always loved sailing, but more especially tinkering on boats. Even without a boat he is drawn to the sea, with open water swimming being a passion (could come in handy if he falls overboard). 

Although he keeps very quiet about it, he is a qualified boat surveyor and can often be spotted skulking around boat yards for fun, poking and prodding at the odd hull.
