Shakespeare Kids

Shakespeare Kids is a Los Angeles based Educational Shakespeare Production Company. More than a theater camp, our classes are fun, interactive, build confidence, spark imagination, and help participants find their inner voice. Our teachers are actors and directors active in the professional world; they coach and nurture students to bring out their best. We offer classes, camps, and workshops, and work with all levels of experience. We are always evolving, exploring, and creating new programs to keep our productions, curriculum, and experiences engaging, educational, and entertaining.

A Midsummer Night's Dream
In ancient Athens, Duke Theseus conquered the Amazons and claimed Queen Hippolyta as his bride. Meanwhile, the magical fairies of the forest are thrilled when they encounter the tradesmen of Athens rehearsing a new play. The fairies cannot resist playing a trick on the foolish mortals. The unskilled players perform "Pyramus and Thisbe" on Theseus’s wedding day. The court and fairies enjoy laughing at the silly performance.

Merry Wives of Windsor
Falstaff tries to fix his financial woe by seducing the wives of two wealthy merchants. The wives discover he sent them identical letters and take revenge by playing tricks on Falstaff when he visits. With help from their husbands and friends, the wives play one last trick in the woods to end Falstaff's mischief.
