The Village of Carpentersville invites our community to gather on Friday, September 11, from 7:30–8:30 PM at our new Riverfront Park for a special evening ceremony commemorating the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001.

This year, we will Remember 9/11 in a New Light — coming together at dusk along the Fox River to honor the lives lost, recognize the courage and sacrifice of our first responders, and reflect on the strength and unity that emerged in the days that followed.

Against the evening sky, two beams of light will rise in remembrance of the Twin Towers, while American flags and candlelight help create a quiet and powerful setting for reflection.

We invite residents, families, first responders, veterans, and community members of all ages to stand together with us for this meaningful hour of remembrance.
