Functional Anatomy for Yoga Teachers
For yoga teachers with an inquisitive mind, who love diving into discussions of human anatomy and how to use this knowledge to create meaningful yoga classes, the Functional Anatomy for Yoga Teachers series is the perfect course. This 5 week series meets every Sunday from 11am-2:30pm starting March 10th. Upon completion, participants will receive credit for 17.5 contact hours of instruction. Various topics will be presented such as an extensive human anatomy review, how to use this knowledge to facilitate movement in a yoga class, and up to date research in Kinesiology (study of human movement) as it applies to teaching yoga.

All three instructors have taught Yoga for many years and have extensive experience in teaching anatomy in YTT programs. Each instructor brings her unique background into the classroom to create interactive learning opportunities well suited for all students.
