Lungs at Work is hosting a Black Lung Screening Event - Appointments are required, please call (724) 941-1650 to schedule your appointment today!
What to Expect at Your Screening
The following will set your baseline or track changes in your lung health:
- Health assessments, including vital signs
- Pulmonary screening breathing tests, including diffusing capacity testing
- Pulse oximetry and six-minute walk tests to check oxygen levels
- Prescriptions for chest x-rays, which will be reviewed for signs of black lung
- Federal Black Lung Benefits counseling and application assistance
What to Expect After Your Screening
- All testing is billed to your insurance
- Dr. Celko will review your results
- Copies of your results will be sent to you and your primary care provider
