This Level One, 'Shoden' course will introduce you to the practice of Reiki. Your teacher Glynis Lazenby has benefitted enormously from having Reiki in her life and she loves sharing Reiki’s wonderful benefits with others.
Level One is primarily about personal development. You will learn how to use Reiki for your own personal practice, and you will also learn how to provide Reiki for members of your family and friends.
Requirements: None, apart from an inquisitive mind and enthusiasm for learning about Reiki.
Here is a general overview of the course:
You will:
• learn to work with Reiki by carrying out simple energy
exercises
• learn Reiki self-treatment techniques
• learn about the Reiki Precepts and how to incorporate them
into your daily life
• practice traditional Reiki meditations.
• receive first degree 'Shoden' reiju/attunements
• provide a treatment to another student, fully supported by
your teacher
• receive a Reiki treatment, helping you to explore the Reiki
experience from the recipient's perspective
• have access to continuing support from your Reiki teacher
following your training
• have fun!
Glynis is a Master/Practitioner member of the UK Reiki Federation and has trained extensively with renowned author and teacher Frans Stiene of the International House of Reiki. Glynis teaches Usui Reiki Ryoho (Mikao Usui’s method of Reiki).
Cost: £100 (£50 deposit to reserve a place and then £50 to be paid 7 days before the course date.
The venue is just off the A48, close to the National Botanic Garden of Wales in Carmarthenshire. There is easy parking.
