For the first time, the Sons Of Service are asking our Supporters to help us!
If you have supported us on rides for kids with cancer, kids & families for Christmas gifts, Veterans rides etc, you know that we have always donated 100% of the money we raise. And of course, all of the Sons and our brides serve as volunteers without pay or any sort of renumeration. Well, Our Clubhouse is in need of significant repairs, and we don't have the funds. So we are holding a ride to help raise money for our Building Fund.
We will use 49% of the funds raised on this ride for needed repairs. In addition, we are starting a Veterans Outreach to area Vets who can contact us on our Facebook Messenger page where we will use 51% of the money from this ride for assistance with food, clothing, or money for needs and essentials.
Sign-Up and Ride kick-off with be at the Carlyle VFW from 10AM-12PM. Area Veterans Organizations will be our stops on this ride, and we will have door prizes and ticket drawings at each stop. In addition, we will have several raffles for some exciting prizes.
Also, we are promoting our largest raffle: a fully guided Gator Hunt in the bayous of Louisiana donated by BJ. (Drawing Aug 16th at our Ride Across Carlyle Dam). Food available at Carlyle VFW at the end of the ride.
All in all, this will be a fun ride and hoping for great turnout and support! Truly, this is a "help us continue to help others"event!
