Plan to visit WWA on Wednesday, May 7th for our Homeschool Day. While we will still be open to the public, we will not have school groups on this day so that you can enjoy the wildlife park with other homeschoolers. Come as a group or come as a family! Today we will NOT have group minimums or reservations required for homeschoolers and you will receive our discounted school group rate which includes a small cup of carrots to feed the animals & a parakeet seed stick for the Parakeet Encounter.

~ Special group pricing - $12/person ages 3+.
~Admission MUST be paid in CASH and purchased before 2 pm on this day to receive group rates (cards can be used for all other purchases). Enjoy your stay until 5 pm!
~ Included with admission - 1 small cup of carrots & 1 bird stick
~ Wildlife Shows-catch 1 of 3 shows happening today
~ Pet & feed many animals from around the world including camels, sloths, capybara, alpaca, sheep & so much more!
~ Visit with our zookeepers and have your questions answered.
~ Hike up to the Daniel Boone Cabin Historic Site - Be prepared by studying Daniel Boone in Advance!
~ Explore the creek for crawdads, fish & more. Look for fossils and check out the ecosystems.
~ Cool off in the splash pad.
~ Let the kids play on the playground.
~ Bring a picnic lunch to enjoy at one of our picnic areas.
~ Grab a treat in the gift shop, we have ice cream & slushies!
~ Shop in our gift shop for souvenirs to take home.

~ Author of "There Was a Zookeeper", Jodie Campbell will be here signing and reading her latest book
~ Meet Rebecca Boone and learn what life was like here in Nicholas County in 1795.
~ Listen to music from Colonial times, and learn about the instruments that were used.  Donald & Esther Drewry, Living Historians and musicians, will be here from 10-2 performing and discussing music!
