This will help protect sensitive plants, wildlife and habitat during the event.What is a BioBlitz?A BioBlitz is a citizen science event where people work together to find, photograph and record as many species as possible within a particular area.During the morning, participants will explore designated areas of Belmont Hills and record the wonderful, colourful, not-so-colourful and sometimes downright weird species they discover.Observations will be recorded using the iNaturalist app, helping to build our knowledge of biodiversity within the reserve.Why is Belmont Hills important?Belmont Hills Bushland Reserve forms part of an important area of remnant bushland within the Bulimba Creek catchment.
