# Event Details - **Event Name**: Weekly Ride of the North Scottsdale Cycling Club (Sonoran Desert Loop) - **Event Start and End Date**: Sat, 04 Jul, 2026 at 07:00 am - **Event Description**: Come ride with us for July 4th- Ditch the club jersey and wear red, white, and blue that day! Join our Weekly Ride Saturday at Starbucks on Scottsdale and Lone Mtn Road (31317 N. Scottsdale Rd in AJ’s Plaza). We have established 3 road riding groups in the summer. B at16-17 MPH average B- at 15 MPH average C at13-14 MPH average This Saturday, we will ride the Sonoran Desert Parkway Loop. Approximately 41 miles for B riders and 31 miles for C riders. has 1100 feet of gradual elevation. From Starbucks we will go right on Lone Mtn Parkway to a right on Pima then a right on Jomax rd. We will regroup at Scottsdale and Jomax for any one that wants to switch groups. B will wait for the C group As we head west, we will make a right on 64th street and a left on Pinnacle Vista and left on 52nd and a right back on Jomax to get us to N Cave Creek Road. After a short right on Cave Creek rd then a quick left on to Sonoran Desert Drive. The C group will regroup and turn around at the Apache Wash Parking Lot and the B groups will continue and regroup at the Circle K, 2575 Sonoran Desert Dr, Phoenix, AZ (about 9 miles RT). The return route is changed because of construction on Scottsdale Rd. Once we come back on Sonoran Desert Drive, we make a N Cave Creek Road and then a left on Jomax and left on 52nd street, right on Pinnacle Vista and Left on 56th street which becomes Rancho Paloma. Right on 52nd Place that becomes Dove Valley Rd. Right on 68th street and left on Ashler Hills. Then the final right on Scottsdale road and left on Lone Mtn Rd to Starbucks.
