Was it taught from textbooks in school? Were you told stories at home? Was it shared with you by your community?The purpose of this workshop is to encourage participants to think, write, and create materials about their own lives and experiences in relation to Black Welsh history (that you definitely didn’t hear about in school!). Using maps, creative writing, and collage, this workshop seeks to deepen our understanding of the past, connect you to yourself, and foster an inclusive telling of local history for the future.
