Actually, this will be the last Sunset on Pen y Fan Walk of 2020 - we've added this one as it's the Winter Solstice and we'll be in the area anyway due to a sunrise walk planned in the morning.
This is a guided walk to the summit of Pen y Fan (the highest mountain in Southern Britain) in time for the sunset. Amazing skies are not guaranteed but a fun walk led by a mountain leader and the Wales Outdoors team is. The walk to the summit will follow the main path which offers no real difficulties but walking boots are advised. It can be cold on the top even in good weather so warm layers and waterproofs are essential.
We will be leaving the car park promptly at 2.30pm so please arrange to be at the car park a little earlier than this.
Do search the programme for other great events with availability.
This walk will be led by Andy Lamb who has been a Brecon Beacons National Park Part Time Warden and BBNP Volunteer and Guided Walks Co-ordinator, Chair of Brecon Beacons Tourism, a D of E and The Princes Trust Co-ordinator in Powys, in RCT and in Merthyr Tydfil and is currently the owner of Wales Outdoors. Andy is a Mountain Leader with nearly 30 years of guiding in Wales and further afield experience. You'll have an informative, fun and memorable day :)

GENERAL GROUP INFO
We charge for these walks in order to have a vibrant and exciting programme of events available to group members. The charge ensures that delivery is sustainable. We offer a range of walks of different lengths and difficulties so hope to cover most levels of ability/fitness.
The key objectives of the group are to get people outdoors and walking and socialising with others who enjoy the same. We encourage the development of interest in the hills and mountains of Wales and we encourage our members to build their skills and to get out on their own or to look to us for guided adventures in the UK and abroad.
Adventure Activity South Wales is actively seeking members and new walking leaders.

OUR REFUND POLICY
Returned spots will be refunded if we have more than 10 days notice.
Returned spots will be credited if we have between 3 and 10 days notice.
