Ayurveda encourages us to align our diet and lifestyle with every season to maintain balance and well-being. This Spring Day Retreat is all about honouring that.
Welcome yourself into a day of purification, upliftment, inspiration, and a new way of experiencing through Yoga and Ayurveda. Building up an inner trust, connection to yourself, and others, aligning to the rhythm of nature.

You will learn and understand how to support your digestive fire, what is Agni and why is it important.
Agni is the energy of fire as the radiance of vitality through which we digest air, food, impressions and thoughts to experience clarity of the mind. It gives us courage, fearlessness, daring and boldness. Also provides us with the sharpness of intellect, intelligence, reason, assimilation, passion to learn, discover and power of Self (consciousness, higher awareness - call it as you like).
Agni is essential for proper digestion (food and life), overall physical, emotional, mental health and enthusiasm for life. As in the case of food it is the energy that breaks it down and then nourishes us at the cellular level. Understanding the diverse functions of Agni from gross to subtle invites us to cultivate a deeper appreciation, trust and reverence for the power of this life-giving energy of consciousness.

Morning Yoga practice will be all about purification, and a sense of renewal. Leaving you lighter, uplifted and clear-minded; counteracting feeling slow, heavy and sluggish after the winter months. Afternoon Yoga Nidra relaxation will replenish your vital force.

Digestive herbal teas, ginger appetizers, simple lunch (GF & V options available) to support your digestion and Agni (digestive fire) and truffles (we need balance - all kinds!) will be served on a day. Allowing some quiet time to pause, reflect and to just simply be in a state of ‘being’ rather than constantly doing.

The lectures are structured and focused on practicality, and you will be able to apply some of the principles right away. All are supported by handouts and opportunities for discussion, questions and answers.

Day Itinerary:
10-11.45 a.m – Seasonal and sustainable breath- centering complete morning practice
12-12.30 p.m – Ayurvedic tips and guidelines on how to improve digestion and the way we eat – applying them straight into our lunch
12.30-1.30 p.m – Lunch + short walk to support the digestion
1.30- 3 p.m - Lecture on Ayurveda
3-3.30 p.m – Yoga Nidra
3.30-4 p.m – Warm drink + Q&A, closing circle

Early Bird investment is £65 if booked and paid by the end of February, thereafter £75.
