Floral Mosaics - Half Day workshop

Join us for a mindful few hours creating a beautiful round floral mosaic using stunning matt pastel tiles. Your finished make will make a great addition to your home decor such as a wall hanging, plant stand or decorative trivet. Please note we do not recommend it for outdoor use.

We’ll guide you through all the steps from planning your design, preparing the background and then using our wheeled tile cutters to create a variety of tile shapes. We can help you choose a design that suits the level of difficulty that you are comfortable with.

Please note that cutting the tiles requires non stop use of hand tools and can be tiring on the hands and wrists.

At the end of the half day you will have affixed your tiles to your wood base, but it will need time to dry before grouting, you can choose to do that at home following our easy written and video tutorial, you will be given a kit with everything you need, if you would prefer to do the grouting at the studio you are welcome to sign up to one of our crafty catch ups which are just £5, you can decide on the day.

All materials & refreshments are provided. You are welcome to bring a packed lunch or can pop to nearby food places on Crwys road.
