- **Event Description**: We're showcasing these rock stars in the making as they perform in The Big Room!About this EventYRC - Y'ALL ROCK CARBONDALE Camper Showcase is coming to The Varsity Big Room!Y’all Rock Carbondale welcomes the Southern Illinois community to attend the 2026 Camper Showcase! The showcase will take place at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at The Varsity.In the week preceding the showcase, 50+ youth entering grades 3-12 will participate in instrument instruction, empowering workshops, creative activities, and band practice at the Eurma C. Hayes Center in Carbondale. Over the course of five days, each band writes an original song to be performed at the 2026 Camper Showcase on July 25.The community is invited to attend the showcase, cheer on these young rock stars, and celebrate their creativity!Tickets are available in advance ($10) and at the door ($15), and a donation-based ticket choice has been made available to pay-as-you-can or donate beyond the $10 to further support the year-round work of Y'all Rock Carbondale.The Varsity Bar & Concessions open with doors at 3:30, one hour prior to showtime at 4:30 pm. Tickets are $5 in advance here at Eventbrite and at the door on the day of the show.Y’all Rock Carbondale is a youth-centered music organization that cultivates an empowering space for girls, women, trans and gender non-conforming people to collaborate and experiment in music, expression, performance, and collective care. For more than 10 years, Y’all Rock Carbondale has hosted an annual music camp for youth.
