- **Event Description**: By popular demand, Green Earth is bringing back Nature On Tap!  This unique fundraiser takes place at our Oakland Nature Preserve and will feature farmhouse style craft brews from nationally renowned Scratch Brewery Company of Ava, ILThe ExperienceNature on Tap will feature the Hike with a Flight beer tasting trail offering eight remarkable Scratch beer selections served from tasting stations located along the preserve’s woodland trail. Guests can sip artisan beers while strolling the shade-covered hiking path and soaking in nature.Nature on Tap will also offer a Pop-Up Pub serving fantastic Scratch Brewery beers, non-alcohol beverages, and light concessions for purchase. Guest can enjoy live music by local Americana-style artists Carr and Tejada while sipping brews and delighting in views of the woodland and adjacent prairie.TicketsHike with a Flight tasting trail tickets are $45 (limited number available) and include access to the Pop-Up Pub, a Green Earth logo beer glass, and eight four-ounce samples of Scratch beers stationed along the woodland hiking trail.  Hike with a Flight tickets are sold in timed slots, so participants have the chance for a leisurely walk through the woodland without having to navigate lines at the tasting stations.Pop-Up Pub tickets are $10 for entry and include pub and concession items for purchase, and live music from 3-5pm (does not include the tasting trail).Purchase your Hike with a Flight or Pop-Up Pub tickets by 4/26 and be entered to win GE swag packages including sweatshirts, t-shirts, tote bags, and more!  Ticket sales close 04/30.Event Details·      Parking:  Free parking is available across Oakland Avenue, kitty corner from the Preserve's main entrance. ·      Walking:  The Pop-Up Pub area and tasting trail are relatively flat and smooth, but they are not paved. Attendees should be comfortable walking on natural terrain.·      Length:  The Pop-Up Pub is located within Oakland’s entrance area and is a short walk from the parking lot.  The entire length of the tasting trail is approx. 3/4 mile. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.This event will be an AMAZING afternoon outdoors and all proceed will benefit the land conservtion nonprofit Green Earth - so drink up and support a great cause!
