Join Joe Herrmann for this welcoming workshop in traditional American stringband and old-time music. A founding member of the Critton Hollow Stringband, Joe has shared this music with audiences around the world since 1975. Alongside his extensive performing career, he brings many years of teaching experience to the table. All stringed instruments welcome. 

Designed for old-time musicians of all experience levels, this workshop will offer a chance to learn directly from Joe’s deep knowledge of the repertoire, style, techniques, and traditions of the genre. Participants can expect practical musical guidance, shared tunes, and conversation grounded in decades of playing, teaching, and keeping traditional music alive.

This workshop is free to attend. Donations will be gratefully accepted in support of the Cacapon Music and Dance Foundation.
