The 2011 film Machine Gun Preacher is based on the true story of Sam Childers, a former drug-dealing biker who converted to Christianity and dedicated his life to rescuing children in East Africa. Childers, along with his wife Lynn, founded the Angels of East Africa orphanage in South Sudan to provide shelter, education, and a safe haven for children escaping violence, particularly from the Lord's Resistance Army. He is known for leading dangerous missions into war zones to rescue child soldiers.

We would like to invite our community to come out and hear Sam share his testimony about how he went from Biker to Preacher.

The Machine Gun Preacher movie can be found on many streaming services.. (I found it on Roku… Pluto Tv for free)
There is also a documentary of his story available to watch as well.

Please come early to get your seat…we will have coffee, tea and water available as well as light breakfast items for this service.

If you plan to attend please respond accordingly to this event page to give us a better idea of seating and space we will be needing that morning!

Healing Waters Biker Church holds services every Sunday morning at 10:30 in the American Legions ballroom. But come early, we have a full breakfast together every Sunday morning during regular church services!

Everyone is Welcome…. Come as you are! And no… you don’t have to be a biker to attend!?
