The Loving Energy of Breath

The breath serves as a bridge to the heart-body-mind...and the nervous system. The state of our natural breath, as it breathes itself, is a mirror of our internal state. By guiding our awareness through the breath, feeling its loving and soft energy, we can calm and regulate the nervous system. 
In this session, we’ll start by harnessing the loving energy of our breath in our initial meditation. From there, we’ll move into a dynamic, intentional breathwork practice, intended to unlock and expand our heart space.


Description of breathwork:
Breathing into Wholeness is a powerful way to move energy, gain greater clarity, and unravel stuck places. Generally, this practice is done lying on the back, breathing dynamically through an open mouth, in and out without pauses or breath holds. The breath journey is lightly guided and accompanied by carefully selected evocative music.

This gentle yet deep way of breathing into and embracing whatever wants to move through us helps us to more easily unlock and release old, trapped energies, patterns, conditioning, negative thoughts and emotions that keep us from our own sense of wholeness and fulfillment.

Every breath we take is sacred...an opportunity to connect with our deeper wisdom!

About Devi Peri
Devi completed her Clarity Breathwork facilitator training about 12 years ago. For the first couple years after her training, Devi worked primarily coaching individuals, bringing her background in mindfulness and embodied movement, along with nature connection into her one-on-one breathwork sessions (Earth&Body Breathwork program). Once she moved to Santa Cruz in 2017, she expanded her practice to also offer group classes and workshops, now known as Breathing into Wholeness.
