Muslim Hikers Presents: Summit & Soul - Eryri

Start the new year surrounded by mountains, fresh air and community at Summit & Soul: Eryri , our first ever Muslim Hikers residential in Snowdonia National Park.

Across three days at the world-renowned Plas y Brenin National Outdoor Centre, this winter weekend brings together a mountain hike, mindful moments, shared meals, and outdoor activities designed to refresh your energy and reconnect you with nature.

With a mountain on our doorstep, expert instructors on site, and a warm, community-focused environment, it’s the perfect way to begin the year on higher ground.

LOCATION: Plas Y Brenin, Snowdonia National Park

This isn’t a formal spiritual retreat, but as always with Muslim Hikers, we pray together at prayer times and share gentle, faith-inspired reminders throughout the weekend.
The focus is community, reflection and starting the year with purpose.

All are welcome regardless of religious background or ability. Whether you're a seasoned mountaineer or a first time walker, we invite you to join us for this unique experience in the Snowdonia National Park.

THE ITINERARY

A full finalised schedule will be sent to all participants before the event. Please note that the programme is subject to change but below is a rough guide of what to expect:

Settle into Plas y Brenin, meet the group, enjoy dinner and a calm introduction to the weekend. Expect gentle connection, warm conversation, and a relaxed evening.

Our headline hike: Moel Siabod, one of Eryri’s most rewarding peaks.

We set off directly from Plas y Brenin, no travel needed.
Expect a full day on the mountain: winter trails, stunning views, mindful pauses, and shared achievement with the group.

A multi-activity day using Plas y Brenin’s incredible facilities.
Activities will run on a rotational basis and require pre-registration after booking.

Possible activities include:

• Canoeing (weather dependent)
• Indoor climbing
• Bouldering
• Low ropes
• Orienteering
• Abseiling

We will check out of rooms at 10am, but activities continue throughout the day.
Departures and goodbyes by 5pm.

ACCOMMODATION

You will be spending your weekend at Plas Y Brenin, booked exclusively for Muslim Hikers. The stunning venue is an iconic base surrounded by lakes, forests and the peaks of Eryri (Snowdonia).

Room share requests and allocations will be processed after registration.

A limited number of single room upgrades will be available for participants who prefer additional comfort or privacy. All upgrades are subject to availability.

• Single Occupancy: £75

KIT LIST
Hiking boots with ankle support recommended, rucksack, waterproof jacket & trousers, extra layers, water bottle & packed lunch. A full kit list will be sent to you via email.

Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable.

Please note professional photography & videography may be in place. Content may be shared by ourselves and third parties for marketing purposes. If you do not wish to be photographed, please let us know on the day.
