Join actor, director and writer D. David Morin at The Cape Town Club for a storytelling dinner showcasing his one-man tribute to literary legend Ernest “Papa” Hemingway.

David’s performance captures the essence of “Papa” and gives the audience a true encounter with the famous figure, sharing the ups and downs of his incredibly rich and rocky life journey, including his battle with the ‘black dog’ that pursued him daily.

Over his fifty-year adventure as a Hollywood actor in TV and film, D. David Morin has acted opposite such stars as Jennifer Aniston, Dustin Hoffman and Bill Paxton. In addition to his acting career, he has also worked behind the camera in a multitude of roles, including director, writer, producer, cinematographer, and more.
He is the creator of ‘The Papa Hemingway Show’, a tribute to the legendary author and novelist, brought to life through a captivating one-man performance, which includes readings from Hemingway’s best prose, uncanny first-person recitations, and meditations on the romance and tragedy of his remarkable life.
