Cultural Park Theatre is thrilled to announce auditions for the full musical Sweeney Todd — a dark, thrilling, and hauntingly brilliant production!

Recommended ages 16+. Directed by Shaelyn Crabtree and Vocal Directed by Carrie Guffy. Please prepare 16 bars or 30 seconds of a musical selection from a published musical. Please come with a device to play music on. (We will provide a bluetooth speaker)

Arrive at 10 AM.

Rehearsals will be Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 6:00-9:00 PM starting November 3rd.


Character Breakdown:

Sweeney Todd: A wrongfully imprisoned barber seeking to right the wrongs committed against him. He is Johanna's father, singularly focused on taking bloody revenge. Our story's tormented protagonist.
Male, Age: 40 to 55, Vocal range top: Gb, Vocal range bottom: F2.

Mrs. Lovett- An entrepreneurial and amoral meat pie shop owner. She falls in love with Todd and turns his desire for revenge into a profitable business venture.

Anthony Hope- A naive and youthful sailor returning to London. He helps Todd return to London and unexpectedly falls in love with Johanna.
