Cornhole Rules Gameplay: Players alternate turns tossing their bags toward the opposite board. After four bags, players take score and resume pitching. Inning: The team that scored points in the previous inning goes first in the next inning. If it was tied, the team that went first in the last inning gets to go first again. Scoring: A bag that lands on the board is worth 1 point, and a bag that goes through the hole is worth 3 points. Cancellation Scoring: The team with the higher score in an inning earns the difference in points. For instance, if Team A scores 5 points and Team B scores 2 points in an inning, Team A earns 3 points for that inning. Winner: Games are played to 21 points OR 15 minutes Tournament will be double elimination format. Chili Cookoff rules: • Bring pot of chili (at least 1 gallon) to the activity center by 11:50 (may bring starting at 10:00) • All chili must be homemade and arrive hot and ready to serve, 140°F or hotter • Each contestant must bring at least 4 quarts of chili. More is encouraged • Chili must be served from a crock pot or insulated container. • Toppings (cheese, onions, sour cream) are optional but encouraged • Each contestant will be assigned a serving station and should provide signage promoting their chili. • Church will provide tasting cups, spoons, napkins, and ballots. • Guests get a free sample and then fill out the ballot. • Voting ends at 1:00 and guests are welcome to get a cup of chili. Sides and drinks provided as well.
