An actor hired to play the king has been slain—who killed him and why? And can the murderer be found before the real king is next?

The suspicious King Mortenfast rules over a fractured kingdom, while trying to maintain control over his conniving brother and sister Lady Bella and Lord Horton. Among the other suspects: Damien, the king’s devious counselor and caretaker of strangely naïve Princess Della, the wise but silly jester Bim, and a pair of gossiping kitchen workers Gretchen and Welldon.

The show is an evening of laughter, intrigue, sword fights, and all! 
Guests get a chance to solve the crime (and best guess wins a prize!)

Mayhem Productions’ Bill Hand has written and presented numerous comic mysteries over the years and all have been well received by the organizations that have hosted us, including The Pavillion at Carolina Colours, The Old Theater in Oriental, and Carolina Home and Garden in Carteret County.
