The Canaveral Cup is being hosted by the Port Canaveral Yacht Club (PCYC), in Port Canaveral, Florida. The regatta is open to all sailboats of suitable seaworthiness to participate in ocean racing. All courses will be in the Atlantic Ocean, south of the Port Canaveral Inlet. Other yacht clubs, PCYC members, as well as individual sailors are cordially invited to participate, and we hope all racers will leave our club with an appreciation of the hospitality extended by the membership of PCYC!
We will have two days of races in four divisions.
Monohull sailboats will be entered into two divisions:
Division I – Performance Boats with or without spinnakers
Division II – Cruising Boats with or without spinnakers
Multihull sailboats will be entered in two divisions:
Division III – Performance Boats with or without spinnakers
Division IV – Cruising Boats with or without spinnakers
Dockage at PCYC for visiting race participants is available, but will fill up fast, so make your reservations early!
Spectators are always welcome. The best viewing area for the races will be from Jetty Park Beach (9035 Campground Circle, Cape Canaveral).
