Salsation is a Latin Night started by DJ Fred Spider in Lyon/France in the 90's and after Barcelona, he has travelled the world bringing his unique brand of entertainment to the Mother City & South Africa where he met Dj Prince. The concept is mixing Latin genres from 50's Mambos, New York Salsa, Son, Merengue, Batchata, Batucadas, Samba de Rio & Samba Rock, Latin House & Breaks, Forro, Cumbia, Calypso, Sambareg, Chachacha, Latin Hip-Hop, Brazilian Drum'n'Bass, Son... In 2011, the Salsation brand partnered with Angus Prince & Evolution Dance Theatre to bring you some of the hottest Latin parties in Cape Town which featured the hottest local and International DJ's as well as Salsa and Samba bands. 2012 sees the duo take Salsa & Latin Entertainment to another level with Salsation @ the Grand Daddy Hotel in Long Street every Friday night from 9pm till late. Now Williams Boonzaaier is also resident dj with Fred Spider. We look forward to seeing you on the dancefloor.
