The Cape Camino route offers time and space for you to reflect on yourself as a being. It is a journey of self discovery. Take from it whatever you want and if you have no specific intention, walk freely and enjoy what the magnificent Cape peninsula has to offer.
This is a 7 day walking route. The terrain is both urban and natural.
Each day there will be a chaperone to accompany you. They are not tour guides, but local assistants who support the Camino concept. Chaperones will walk at a constant pace, so if you'd prefer to stick with them, make sure they're in sight.
The set date Caminos are for individiuals and small groups to walk the route together. Sometimes you'll feel like chatting, so chat. Sometimes others will feel like chatting but you won't, so politely tell them you'd prefer to pilgrim in silence.
A Camino is a safe space to be you. It is all up to you, and you are responsible for the time you have.
