The Conscious Living Life Skills Program, a 12 month, term-by-term learning immersion that focuses on the foundations of conscious living, delivered through holistic and heart-centered education that nurtures the whole child - mind, body and spirit. With its roots based in conscious education, this unique program integrates life skills, spiritual awareness and personal growth with academic development. Designed to inspire a deeper connection to self and the environment, it weaves creativity, mindfulness, sustainability, literacy, numeracy, and spiritual growth together in a way that supports every facet of your child's wellbeing and development. Based on the new educational framework we have created - The Conscious Living Curriculum, this experiential program offers much more than just life skills and knowledge, it offers an opportunity to be a part of something revolutionary that will not only impact your child's future, but the future of generations to come... With the rise of AI and the old systems crumbling, its important now, more than ever, that we empower our children with the life skills and knowledge required to create a future where community, sustainability, harmony and self-sufficiency are integrated into the values of society. We are creating a movement towards a future focused, conscious education model that we believe will eventually replace the mainstream curriculum. We believe in creating a future where our children have the knowledge to be self-sufficient, where they don't have to rely on government systems, grocery stores and technology to survive, where they are in tune with the world around them, and live in harmony with the natural world. The Details This is a 12-month learning journey broken into 4 x 9 - week terms Immersion sessions are held 1 day a week - Mondays - 9.30am - 12.30pm Location - 36 Allambee Crescent, Capalaba Only open to children ages 5 - 12 years at this time Public holidays - No sessions on public holidays Bookings are required for all classes Terms Term 2 - 20th April - 6th July (extended by 2 weeks due to illness) Term 3 - 27th July - 21st September Term 4 - 19th October - 14th December The Conscious Living Curriculum A forward-thinking educational framework we have designed to inspire & empower the next generation of free-thinking, heart-centered individuals, with the skills, knowledge and vision to build a more sustainable, harmonious and unified world for all. Throughout our terms we will cover a variety of subjects including - Sustainability - caring for the earth and all creatures big & small - Community & connection - nature, animals and others - Art & music - for self-expression and healing - Life skills - cooking, self-sufficiency, money/energy exchange - Mindfulness practices - meditation, grounding, being present - Spiritual awareness - learning the foundations of spirituality and conscious living - Permaculture - gardening, growing food - Literacy & numeracy - reimagined through play - Social skills - teamwork, friendships, the importance of communication - Emotional regulation skills - learn ways to regulate our nervous systems and so much more... * Important note - As our program does not follow the Australian school curriculum, we encourage parents to register with the home education unit in Queensland to ensure compliance with the government requirements The Cost We are committed to delivering transformational learning experiences that support your child's learning journey in a way that is valuable, educational, and fun for both your family, and our mentors. We aim to keep our prices at a level that both values the learning, time, resources and energy that goes into our sessions while also being affordable for all families. To ensure affordability we are offering a variety of payment options including upfront payment, payment plans and afterpay. Term-by-term enrollment (includes 9-week learning journey + resource fee) = $350 Casual session bookings (must be made at least 24 hours before session) = $45 Weekly payment plans via invoice - by arrangement only (please contact me on 0497 142 223) Our Daily Flow Each day will flow slightly differently depending on the children's needs 9.30am - Morning welcome circle 9.45am - Nature play 10.15am - Morning tea (provided) 10.45am - Lesson activity 11.30am - Music & mindfulness class 12.00pm - Lunch (parents to pack/fridge available) 12.30pm - Home time Spaces available To ensure every child gets the attention they need we are capping our spots at 10 children per session. What to bring Please bring the following to each session - hat, water bottle, sunscreen, spare change of clothes for water/messy play, jumper for colder weather, as well as a packed lunch Allergies - if your child has allergies, we ask that you please let us know, and bring both morning tea and lunch for your child to ensure their safety. Drop off or Stay and Play We understand that as parents it can be hard to take your child into a new environment and that you want to ensure their comfort and safety at all times. With this in mind we have decided to offer both drop off and stay and play options for parents, if your child has trouble adjusting to new places and people, we encourage you to stay for the first 1 - 2 sessions to see how they settle in. Meet Your Childs Mentor Phoenix Claussen is a qualified and experienced education and wellbeing professional with over 15 years' experience working with children of all ages. Phoenix is not only the founder of Conscious Kidz New Earth Learning Village, but she is also the pioneering mind behind the Conscious Living Curriculum, and a changemaker with a vision for a brighter future for the next generation. Phoenix has created and facilitated multiple experiential programs to support children's wellbeing and development and has made a positive impact on the lives of hundreds of families throughout her career. Phoenix is a spiritual mentor and new earth visionary with a passion for supporting children and their families to live and learn more consciously.
