# Event Details

- **Event Name**: Veteran's Day Tribute
- **Event Start and End Date**: Fri, 14 Nov, 2025 at 06:30 pm
- **Event Description**: Veterans Day Tribute – Honoring Our Heroes on the Ice, hosted by Kim Muir's non-profit, “Can’t Skate, Can’t Play” for Special Needs, at the Arctic Edge Ice Arena.

Join us for a special Veterans Day event featuring the PCS Penguins (girls’ high school hockey team), the Canton Varsity Boys Hockey Team, and Metro Detroit Sled Hockey team!

Both high school teams will take part in a fun and meaningful exhibition against the Metro Detroit Sled Hockey team in a sled hockey game, in honor of all our veterans. The Honor Guard from American Legion Post 32, of Livonia, will perform a formal drill on the ice (a moment you shouldn’t miss).

We warmly invite all Veterans to come out and be recognized. If you’d like, we would love for you to join us on the ice, whether to be honored or to try sled hockey yourself! Please come in your dress blues, BDUs, or military hockey jersey, and bring your skates if you have them.

After the game, stay for a meet & greet with food and refreshments as we celebrate your courage, service, and sacrifice of our nation’s heroes, while educating high schoolers of your surrendering and the daily lives of the disabled.

Donations at the door to support Metro Detroit Sled Hockey

From all of us, thank you for your service and God Bless America!!?? ❤️
