- **Event Description**: Please come contribute to a couple that has given so much to their families, friends, and careers. Lee is a veteran of the gulf war, working on aircraft carriers launching and recovering planes. He also served the Illinois Department of Corrections for 26 years. During that time he was a very influential member of the Tactical team. Lee was on the team for 21 years, serving as a Member, Assistant Commander and 5 years as Commander at IRCC. Kim is a hometown girl from Bushnell pouring her heart and soul in to her family and also found the time somehow to be one of the hardest working women you can find out there. Lee and Kim have spent their lives dedicated to their children and grandchildren, even with the overwhelming work schedules they endured they always have said “them before us.”  No matter the drive no matter the cost, Lee and Kim always seem to make it happen.  

Now it’s our turn to make it happen for them! Lee is battling Kidney Cancer while Kim is battling Breast Cancer. An overwhelming battle, but I can think of no other couple stronger to conquer this fight.
