- **Event Description**: Come experience a classic shamanic drum/journey circle with sacred song, drumming, calling to the four directions and journeying to non ordinary reality to meet one of your spirit animals/spirit teachers.

Day 1, on November 7, will focus on an introduction to Core Shamanism, what it is, basic principles and history. You will learn how to journey to meet one of your spirit animals

Day 2, on November 14, will focus on journeying to meet one of your spirit teachers and as time permits learning some basic empowerment/self healing practices.  

Please bring an eye covering (a scarf, bandana or Mindfold) and a notebook/pen to write in.

About the Facilitator: Debra Mitchell, MSW, LCSW-R has over 36 years experience in the mental health field as a psychotherapist/healer. She is a Shamanic Practitioner trained with the Foundation for Core Shamanic Studies, a teacher of Transcendental Meditation, and a Reiki Master.
