Great music, good food, and family fun take center stage at First Friday in Downtown Canton. Enjoy late night shopping, world-class restaurants, Kids Zone, food and beverage vendors along Main Street and a CRUISE IN! Formed in 2012, Bumpin' The Mango has become Atlanta's top funk & soul band. Ten of the southeast's finest musicians make up this musical brotherhood. Wielding a fiery five piece horn section, a rock solid rhythm section, and an incredible lead vocalist. Their music and presence radiates an energy from the stage that lifts the audience out of their seats and pulls them to the dance floor. Influenced by bands such as Tower of Power, Earth Wind & Fire, Chicago, and The Ohio Players, Bumpin' The Mango's original music is a melting pot of funk, soul, and R&B. **Chairs** You may begin setting out chairs at 7am Friday morning. The irrigation system in Cannon Park operates from 6-7am. Keep in mind Cannon Park is not the only spot for chairs. Once Main Street is closed for the event at 4pm, you can spread out into the Water Authority and Jones Building lots. North Street will turn into one lane so the area directly behind Cannon Park will also be available! We also ask that you please keep the sidewalks clear. **Set up for Friday** Please remove all vehicles along Main Street and within the Jones Building and Water Authority lots by 3pm Friday so vendors can begin to set up at 4pm. **Cruise In** The Cruise In Car Show will be located within the Cherokee County Water Employee Parking lot. Classic Cars may begin arriving at 4:30 and will enter from the North Street entrance. This is on a first come, first served basis until the lot is full. There will be no fee collected this year and we ask that you consider donating in one of the buckets that will be available for 'Toys of Tots'. ? PARKING is available: Archer Street Parking Deck Behind the Historic Courthouse Brown Park **Parking area at the corner of Academy and Main **PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU PARK IN A MARKED PARKING SPACE. DO NOT PARK ON CURBS AND GRASS AREAS ? FOUR RESTROOMS and WASH STATION AREAS Behind the Canton Stage Along the sidewalk of the Water Authority (North Street) Near the Cherokee Fire Dept (Main Street) Along the sidewalk of the Jones Building We've got you covered with COMPLIMENTARY SHUTTLES to get you to the event area! Park your vehicle at The Mill on Etowah and jump on the Shuttle that will pick up near Community Burger beginning at 4:30pm. This is great if you want to pull up and drop someone off and go park. ADDITIONAL SEATING NORTH STREET will turn into ONE LANE OF TRAFFIC from the rear of the Jones Building to the Water Authority Building/Drop Off zone. This will allow us to offer more seating. Please leave ALL sidewalks leading to restrooms and around Cannon Park open to foot traffic. Do not set up blankets or chairs on the sidewalks. No tarps or blankets on the grass please. ?KIDS ZONE within Fincher Adkins Park ?
