2026 MCFA Rodeo Pageant

The McPherson County Fair Association Rodeo Royalty Pageant takes place each July during the McPherson County Fair in Canton, KS. It is open to girls ages 8-18 from anywhere in the state of Kansas. The 2026 pageant will be held on Thursday and Friday, July 16 and 17, 2026, at the McPherson County Fairgrounds on the north side of Canton. All forms needed to apply are on the Forms page of the website. Queen and Princess application forms and $25 nonrefundable entry fee must be received by July 1, 2026. $50 cash or check sponsorship is due by check in on July 16.

Queen ages 13-18

Scored categories include written test, horsemanship (rail work and pattern), interview, and impromptu questions.

Non-scored categories include photogenic, congeniality, and ticket sales. Although not scored, there are prizes awarded in these categories.
