What is 'open research', and why should I care?

Making your research available to others is increasingly required by funders, but what does this mean - 'open' to who, when, how?

In this workshop Professor Simon Kirchin (Dean, Faculty of Humanities), Dr Nigel Temperton (HIC-Vac international research network) and Sarah Slowe (Office for Scholarly Communications) discuss the meaning of 'open research', why it's important, and how to consider appropriately when developing your research proposal.

It's free to attend for staff at the University of Kent, and refreshments will be provided. However, places are limited and you need to register your interest via the button to the right.
