"The gods are witness,
Ne'er did playfellows wear a truer grief,
For his undone ally than mine for you." (Act II Scene IV)
This modern retelling of Timon of Athens is a naturalistic comedic play following Tai (Timon); a high achieving popular student and his friends as they go through their studies at University. However as Tai begins to struggle with financial difficulties, this play takes a dark turn to provide a glimpse into the world of mental health and financial problems many UK students face during their studies.
