- **Event Description**: The Three Principal Aspects of the PathAbout this EventOne of the clearest presentations of the path to enlightenment is a short poem called The Three Principal Aspects of the Path, composed over 600 years ago by the extraordinary Spiritual Guide and founder of the New Kadampa lineage, Je Tsongkhapa.In a mere fifteen verses, Je Tsongkhapa distils the vastness of the Buddhist stages of the path to enlightenment into three essential realisations, or experiential understandings. Gaining experience of these three — Renunciation, Bodhichitta, and the wisdom realising Emptiness — provides us with the methods we need to transform every aspect of our life into opportunities for inner development and spiritual growth. In this way, our daily life itself becomes the path to the freedom of liberation and, ultimately, full enlightenment.On this series of classes, Senior Buddhist Teacher Chelvi will take us on a spiritual journey, guiding us step-by-step through the development of each of these three profound understandings, making them practical and accessible for modern life.
