Rejuvenating Grapevines: UNH Extension Workshop

This is a HANDS-ON Workshop at the historic Canterbury Shaker Village.

Jeremy Delisle, UNH Fruit Specialist, will lead this workshop, which will focus on reclaiming overgrown grape vines, selecting appropriate shoots for cordons, making proper pruning cuts, and retraining the vines to a trellis system. The goal is to help grapevines become healthy and productive and to enhance the skills of volunteers.

What to Bring:
- Pruning tools if you have them. This includes hand pruners, and loppers. PLEASE label them with your name.
- Gloves
- Dress to be outside! Layers, for whatever weather we get on the day and however it changes through the morning
- Warm footwear with good treads. Weather depending, you might like to bring snowshoes or crampons if the weather has been icy
