The Pinewood Derby is a cherished Cub Scout tradition that inspires creativity, sportsmanship, and friendly competition. Scouts design, build, and race their own wooden cars often with the help of family, learning valuable skills in teamwork, craftsmanship, and problem-solving along the way.
Pack 296 will be hosting our local pack/community Pinewood Derby at The Parish House from 11 am - 1 pm. Come watch the Scouts race their cars in the Scouts race bracket to see which Scout will move on to the regional race.
We will also be offering the ability for youth and adult community members to register and participate with their own Pinewood Derby car in a community race bracket.
Community member participation is open for all ages. Racers will be assigned to youth or adult race brackets.

Both the Scouts and community race bracket winners will be crowned based on double elimination rules.
