On the effervescent green lawn of our historic Meeting House (1792), under a grand canopy of maple trees, overlooking gorgeous rolling fields and hills, enjoy 5 Sunday afternoon concerts tastefully crafted to showcase some of the best artists and musicians in southern New Hampshire. 

Head out with your family, meet up with some friends, pack an afternoon meal and drinks, and soak in a summer Sunday with great music on the green at Canterbury Shaker Village.

The Random Band
Remember when MP3 players shuffled through your tunes at random? That's Random Band! A group of locally infamous musicians that jump from Leonard Cohen to Gid Tanner & His Skillet Lickers, Social Protest to Sea Shanties, Grateful Dead to Gospel.

This group of locally infamous musicians includes: 

Brian Rof: vocals, rhythm guitar, harmonica, occasional loud foot tapping and snide comments. 

Brian Kugel: vocals, mandolin, mandola, octave mandolin, english concertina, harmonica and bizarre song selections. 

Dick Bennett: vocals, endless prattle and a varying array of, sometimes musical, instruments.

Joining for Music on the Green…
Jeff Fetter; vocals, fiddle & occasional limberjacking. 
Craig Whitson; vocals, guitar & extensive guitar tuning

Where is it? 
At Canterbury Shaker Village, New Hampshire. Concerts on Meeting House lawn. If there is inclement weather, concerts will be held in our covered North Shop, in the middle of the Village.

What can I bring? 
Please bring what you might for a wonderful afternoon picnic! Foldable chairs and blankets are encouraged for seating, and feel free to bring outside food and beverage to enjoy as you listen to great music! Dogs must be leashed at all times and well-behaved. No smoking.

Admission?
Pay what you can sliding scale; suggested donation of $15. All funds go directly back to our non-profit work of preserving and sharing the legacy of the Canterbury Shakers.
