Canterbury’s regular swing dance club at the atmospheric riverside Mooring Cafe & Bar, home to the Canterbury Punting Company.  This week we’re starting the evening with a simple jive class.

Featuring a great mix of Big Band Swing, Jump Jive, Boogie Woogie, Gypsy Jazz, Early Rhythm’N’Blues, Western Swing, Hillbilly Boogie, Broadway and Movie Melodies, Latin, Exotica and Calypso from the 1930’s to the 1950’s.  This week we will be including some great seasonally themed numbers.

No strict dress code but vintage style is always appreciated.

Free entry, though any donation to the running of the evening is always welcome and this week will be donated to the charity Stand Up Against Racism.
