ONE LAST PUSH TO END FOX HUNTING IN KENT FOR GOOD!!
Members of the public are invited to attend a peaceful demonstration on Boxing Day to show the last fox hunt in Kent, that killing wildlife for fun is abhorrent to the majority, and nobody is fooled by their claims of chasing an artificial scent
Since the election, the government has repeated its intent to ban trail hunting, including in December 2024 and April 2025, but legislation to this effect has not yet been introduced to Parliament. We remain confident though that we will soon finally see an end to this barbaric cruelty.
THE KENT HOUNDS are the last battered and weary remnants of five hunts (The East Kent, West Kent. the Ashford Valley, the West Street & the Tickham hunts), forced to amalgamate into a shadow of their “glorious” past, broken by dwindling support, financial chaos and fall out’s at the top…not to mention the ruthless pressure for decades from KENT HUNT SABOTEURS!
This so called “trail” hunt is still always followed by quad bikes of masked up “terrier men”, with spades, terriers and digging equipment, and it is no surprise that some of these same Kent Hounds members were involved and convicted in the ongoing “biggest ever' investigation into illegal fox hunting”

These same terrier “men” were welcomed back into the hunt, even after "an RSPCA raid in January 2023 found two dogs in their care with horrific injuries, ‘trophy photos’ of them involved in illegal hunting and incriminating messages on mobile phones"
It makes an utter mockery of the law, and shows exactly what kind of kind of law breaking animal abusers the Kent Hounds are.
We want hunting ended in Kent NOW!!
So-we ask YOU-the public who find blood sports abhorrent to come and demonstrate again this Boxing Day (the most important day in the fox hunters season), and to-
DEMAND that Kent police ENFORCE the Hunting Act
DEMAND that the hunts are held to account for their law breaking
SHOW YOUR DISGUST at the Boxing Day Christmas card debacle, where hundreds of people celebrate a “tradition” of bloodshed, then leave the square whilst the hunt move on to the killing fields.
”If all of those people who stand in the square this Boxing Day “traditionally” cheering on the red coats were to see the cruelty that's hidden from view, I believe they would hang their heads in shame. It's high time that the public were made aware that these people are routinely breaking the law, and still using wild animals as toys to chase, torture and K*ll for “sport”. The police must take a pro active stance against this barbaric practice to finally consign fox hunting to history”
(please note-Elham Village Hall are in no way connected to the Kent Hounds, it is just a meeting point)
