The race will feature two ultra distances, a 10K race, and a 20K race.
They all will take place over the two days.

Full Everest– 100 miles and over 30,000ft/30,000ft gain/loss. 152 “everesting” loops and four, ~2 mile, trail loops on wooded single track that can be run at any time during the race. 36 hour cutoff.

Base Camp– 50 miles and over 15,000ft/15,000ft gain/loss. 76 “everesting” loops and two, ~2 mile, trail loops on wooded single track that can be run at any time during the race.

Saturday Sunset 10K. This 10K will take you on a tour of other hills and trails on the Cannonsburg property.
Sunday Sunrise 20K is two laps of the 10K course.

We do not have access to the ski hill lights so you are responsible for bringing a headlamp and extra batteries. A headlamp is recommended for every distance except the Sunrise 20K on Sunday.
Pacers are not allowed in any distance

Summer Everest Challenge

***New for 2026***
Summer Everest Challenge goes from June 21-Sept 25 to complete 137 loops on the course at Cannonsburg. On race day, you will finish the remaining 15 loops to complete the elevation gain/loss of Mt Everest.
*Must sign up before Sept 1
*Race Day start: 7am
*Based on honor system and self tracking
The hill loop is counter clockwise from the base of the hill, up the quad (not the face), under the chairlift, down to the double lift, down the double, then back to the base. There is a map on our website and it’s also a segment on Strava
