With claims of ghosts known as the Black Eyed Children being witnessed, strange animals and eerie screeching being heard. Do you have what it takes to join us for a terrifying night ghost hunting at the Four Crosses Inn?

The Four Crosses, a coaching inn built in the 17th century, has been was used by visitors throughout history as a rest stop. This incredible building still has original shipping timbers that are over a thousand years old. Several secret passages have been uncovered over the years, and more have been believed to exist. Perhaps the most astounding discovery has been the Old Coachman's outfit, which has been maintained for over 150 years beneath the chimney. This location has one of the most sinister reputations for hauntings in the UK.

Visitors have reported encountering apparitions, hearing heavy footsteps, and experiencing unexpected temperature drops. During the night, you'll have the opportunity to become a ghost hunter and you might see strange phenomena including unexplained lights, dark figures in the cellar, as well as sensations of being touched.

Why leave when the ghost hunt concludes at 3am. Take your ghost hunting experience to the next level with a night of fear and mystery at the Four Crosses! There is no additional cost; simply bring your own sleeping bags and check out any time until 8am the next morning. Have a unique ghost hunt sleepover experience by exploring the Four Crosses' spooky rooms overnight!



YOUR EVENT INCLUDES:

We do not condone any tricks or faking of activity

Ghost hunting with us is in small groups, we do not believe in overcrowding

Spiritual white light protection and grounding before you start

We can offer an introduction to ghost hunting techniques and equipment for all our first-time ghost hunters

Traditional Victorian, and scientific experiments for you to try throughout the night (table tipping, Ouija Boards, Glass divination and Scribing)

Free time to investigate on your own

Lone vigils in the dark for the bravest or experienced ghost hunters

Full hands-on use with the equipment

Free Refreshments during the night (Includes hot and cold drinks and snacks)   

A group discussion of findings at the end sharing experiences with those in other groups who may have missed the happenings you encountered

OPTIONAL SLEEPOVER: This event includes an optional sleepover once the Ghost Hunt has ended. You must bring a sleeping bag/camping bed/air mattress for the night as bedding isn't provided. 

This location is not suitable for wheelchair users

This location may be suitable for people with mobility issues (please call the office to discuss mobility needs) 

All attendees must be 18 years or older

Not suitable for pregnant people

This is a dark location with uneven flooring and stairs, all attendees must bring a torch with them

Sensible shoes at all times, and warm and waterproof layered clothing is essential in cold weather
