- **Event Description**: Join West Midlands Ringing Group (WMRG), as they give you up close views of a variety of birds ? 
The WMRG will be ringing birds on Cannock Chase, to show you how and why this is done! 
The ringing group will delve into the research, thermal imaging technology and knowledge of Cannock Chase bird life. 
This will mostly be a sit down presentation style, with a chance after to have a close up look at the tools and methods used. 
If youre lucky enough, you may even get the chance to hold and release a bird back onto Cannock Chase! ?‍♀️?

This event is mostly held inside, with the last 30 minutes being outside. 
Please meet at Cannock Chase Visitor Centre, on the 22nd of February. 
Exact timings will be sent out to participants via email, a few days before the event starts. 

? Pre- booking is essential, via email or in the Cannock Chase Visitor Centre. 
? Email cannockchasemarquisdrive@staffordshire.gov.uk for more information or to book your place. 
? Cost - £7.50 per person. With most of this fee going back to support West Midlands Ringing Group and the amazing work they do!
